Special Order 40 in Los Angeles is supported by Mayor Villaraigosa and a majority of city council members.
It's created an atmosphere of fear that stops police from checking on a person's immigration status during pre- and post-arrest procedures.
The result has been a huge increase in the prevelance of illegal immigrant gang members-and bloodshed in the U.S.
Kids are often the victim. Recently Jamiel Shaw Jr., a 12th grader and football star at his highschool, was killed by an illegal immigrant gang member.
Pedro Espinosa is a gangbanger with the 18th Street Gang. Pedro served 180 days on gun charges--with no one checking his legal status. Twenty-four hours after his release, Espinosa murdered Shaw.
The victim's mother, serving in Iraq, came here to bury her son. She joined her husband before the Los Angeles Council asking for the passage of "Jamiel's Law" which would revise Special Order 40. Watch their plea on video below.
To give you an example:
80% of the 18th Street Gang are illegal immigrants
50%-80% of Mara Salvatrucha are illegal aliens
The city is unsafe in many areas, because of the Mayor and his support for Special Order 40.
It's outrageous to prevent any police officer from keeping Los Angeles safe.
Liberal politicians hiding behind political correctness and racial pandering are looking the other way while innocent kids are being killed by domestic terrorists.
Widely publicized last week was that Muslims make up to 19.2% of the world's population, for the first time overtaking the Catholics' 17.4% according to Vatican numbers. However, if you add in Protestants and orthodox churches,Christianity is 33%, or about 2 billion people.
Where is Muslim growth? Europe, Russia, Asia and South America. For example, in Europe, Islam is a significant part of the cultural and political makeup—about 14 million. The Muslim birth rate in Europe is
three times higher than the non-Muslim birth rate.
In Great Britain, Protestant weekly church attendance is only 6.3% of the population. At this rate, about 4,000 churches will close over
the next 15 years.
In France, there are now more than 4,000 mosques.
In Germany, at the current growth rate, Muslims will be a majority population by 2046.
For over 20 years, Barack Obama sat without protest under the teachings of his spiritual mentor, Dr. Jeremiah Wright.
Dr. Wright and his church, Trinity United Church of Christ, are advocates of Black Liberation Theology.
This is important, because in understanding this ideology, you can understand the vitriolic preaching, the anti-Semitism, the racism, the anti-Americanism, the odd beliefs such as blaming the U.S. for 9/11 and the propagation of the HIV virus.
Black liberation theology was defined in 1969 by the National Committee of Black Church Men.
Basically:
It's a theology of "blackness." It affirms being black, freeing black people from white racism. The result would be freedom for both white and black people.
Blackness is not just about skin color, but a symbol of oppression that can be applied to all persons of color. Liberation is needed by all oppressed by white society.
Christian theology is a theology of liberation from being victimized by white oppression.
The Gospel—and Jesus—are the examples of being freed from oppression. Jesus' work was that of liberation. The pain of Jesus is that of blacks.
White Americans don't have the ability to recognize the humanity of people of color, so a separate black theology is needed.
Bottom line: Black liberation theology distorts the true Gospel of Christ.
The Word says:
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus”—Galatians 3:28
Black liberation theology salvation is less about Christ in you and more about a political Christ with a liberal political agenda.
And the political agenda is based on a lie: That life for blacks in America is one of oppression. It's all about being victimized.
Rev. Wright's replacement, Rev. Otis Moss, is interesting, but theologically unsound. On Easter Sunday he used John 20:16 in an out-of-context way to talk about Wright and Black liberation theology. To see what he said, click here for a short video, or click Play on the video below.
Mormons say they are like any protestant denomination. And that those opposed to Mormonism are bigoted.
In past issues I've discussed some of the false doctrines Mormonism proclaims. And we have received a lot of letters from Mormons upset at being classified a cult.
One reader responded to a letter we posted last issue, accusing me of being bigoted for opposing the false theology. Shane Idleman, author of One Nation "Above" God writes in response to the letter (click here to read it):
“When we fail to confront destructive ideas and philosophies, we are, in essence, confirming them. We cannot change what we will not confront; we must speak the truth in love.
“'Speaking the truth in love' reminds me of an experience I had with my daughter, Aubrey, when she was 18 months old. My wife and I had the opportunity to take her to a small feline zoo. As we walked through the facility we saw leopards, tigers, and other exotic felines; my daughter enjoyed seeing all the 'kitty cats.' Before leaving, we took a ride on a miniature train. As we rounded the first turn, I was amazed and shocked to see a larger than life, full-size lion leaning against the chain-link as his massive paws slammed against the fence.
“As the train moved slowly through the lion exhibit, I looked down, and to my horror, my daughter was unbuckling her seat belt. She shouted, 'Daddy, hug the lion; play with the lion,' as she desperately tried to get out of the train. I replied with an emphatic, 'No,' as I pulled her tightly to me and refastened her seat belt. Needless to say, she wasn't happy. She began crying, hoping that I would change my mind. To her, and others looking on from a distance, I may have appeared bigoted, narrow-minded, judgmental, and intolerant, but had I let my daughter play with the lion she could have been mauled to death. That's the truth of love—loving someone enough to tell him or her the truth, even if it hurts. If being labeled narrow-minded, judgmental, intolerant or a bigot is the cost of speaking the truth in love, so be it. If we know there is a roaring lion waiting to devour, we should lovingly speak the truth.”
Thanks, Shane. We expose that which is false with truth out of love.
Incidentally, my wife just finished reading his book and really enjoyed it. Check it out at www.elpaseopublications.com.

"There is a word for people who put children in a car to be blown up. The word is evil...It's important that we say this out loud and that we render this moral judgment. Because if we fail to understand that our enemy is evil, we have failed to understand what we are fighting."
