Court Ruled Against Christian Student PDF Print Email

In past issues, I've reported on Poway High School student Chase Harper suing over not being able to wear a t-shirt opposing homosexuality and including a Bible verse.

The court ruled in favor of the school district because statements about sexual orientation, if not positive, can be restricted by the school.

In other words, Christian free speech, thought and expression in school is dead—unless its prohomosexual.

Is this not viewpoint discrimination?

Reflection

"It costs God nothing, so far as we know, to create nice things: but to convert rebellious wills costs him crucifixion...You must make your choice.

"Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman and something worse...

"You can shut him up for fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon; or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God."

—C. S. Lewis
