Burma—The Burmese government conducts murderous military operations against Christians, largely among a group called the Kachin. It's genocide.
Sudan—Christians have been the target of forced Islamization resulting in genocide.
North Korea—It's a brutal police state.
Saudi Arabia—Besides suppression of religious freedoms, the government funds and promotes religious intolerance, hatred and violence toward non-Muslims.
Cuba—The government is responsible for suppression, harassment and imprisonment of Christians.
Let's pray for brothers and sisters in these countries. Let's help them with Bibles and pray for forces in the country that want to see change. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:2 that "those who have been given a trust must prove faithful."

To fight poverty, we don't need economic tax and regulation policies that hurt business growth. We need fewer taxes and less regulation to increase economic prosperity and opportunity.
Thanks to President Bush's tax cuts, the nation's poverty rate has declined according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The 12.6% rate of 2005 fell to 12.3% in 2006.

Every time you get gas, you pay local, county, state and federal taxes, increasing your bill for each fill-up.
U.S. households on average spend $511 per year on gas taxes. If you drive more than "average," of course you pay more. |

The latest company to leave California, blaming a high increase in costs, is Interstate Bakeries Corporation (Wonder Bread, Roman Meal, Hostess Cakes, Drake's). The company's departure will leave 1,300 Californians out of work.
Besides the growing tax and regulation burden, Governor Schwarzenegger's California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 mandates a 25% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 2020. A by-product of bread baking is carbon dioxide.
Look for more companies fleeing.

Mennonite families sending their children to a Christian school are being forced to close their school by the Quebec Canada Ministry of Education.
Parents were told the school must include an approved curriculum that was pro-homosexual and pro-evolution.
The parents are afraid if they ignore this government command, social workers may take their children.
To express your discontent and concern with the Ministry of Education in Quebec,
