Pray for Christians impacted over the latest unjust attack on Christians in Egypt.

Eight undercover police confiscated books, CDs and Christian newspapers in a bookstore. They arrested one person.

A suggested letter to the Egyptian Consulate can be found on the website of Advocates for the Persecuted, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that advocates for religious minorities in the Middle East.

This world is full of tribulation. So let's set our eyes back on the fact that God is still in control.

I've received some great letters on both sides of this issue. But because of the election I haven't been able to do justice to addressing the issue.

Special Order 40 in Los Angeles is supported by Mayor Villaraigosa and a majority of city council members.

It's created an atmosphere of fear that stops police from checking on a person's immigration status during pre- and post-arrest procedures.

The result has been a huge increase in the prevelance of illegal immigrant gang members-and bloodshed in the U.S.

Kids are often the victim. Recently Jamiel Shaw Jr., a 12th grader and football star at his highschool, was killed by an illegal immigrant gang member.

Pedro Espinosa is a gangbanger with the 18th Street Gang. Pedro served 180 days on gun charges--with no one checking his legal status. Twenty-four hours after his release, Espinosa murdered Shaw.

The victim's mother, serving in Iraq, came here to bury her son. She joined her husband before the Los Angeles Council asking for the passage of "Jamiel's Law" which would revise Special Order 40. Watch their plea on video below.

To give you an example:

1. 80% of the 18th Street Gang are illegal immigrants
2. 50%-80% of Mara Salvatrucha are illegal aliens

The city is unsafe in many areas, because of the Mayor and his support for Special Order 40.

It's outrageous to prevent any police officer from keeping Los Angeles safe.

Liberal politicians hiding behind political correctness and racial pandering are looking the other way while innocent kids are being killed by domestic terrorists.

Special Order 40 has been a deadly failure.

The time to pass "Jamiel's Law" is now.

Socialism in Mexico is crashing the Mexican economy.

For example, the country is sitting on huge reserves of oil. They should be generating jobs and wealth for Mexican citizens.

Instead, the government-run oil industry there is destroying production. Like any government-run program, centralized planning is filled with inefficiencies and corruption.

Here's what's needed:

1. Privatization
2. Removal of government regulations
3. Crack down on corruption
4. The allowance of U.S. investment capitol and expertise into the country
5. Removal of free-trade barriers

The Mexican people are hurt. We are hurt.

Ironically, the trilogy of Communism: Cuba, Venezuela and China, has increased production of offshore of oil exportation and development near Florida.

Insane. Another example of government failure here in the U.S. and elsewhere.

For about 6 years I was in charge of my church singles group.

With well over 100 co-eds, I was concerned about singles' roomate choices. Now the 9th Circuit Court is contributing to what I'll call "singles abuse."

Roommates.com was taken to court by taxpayer-funded Fair Housing Council of San Fernando Valley and the Fair Housing Council of San Diego.

The court says the website cannot require users to disclose their sexual orientation.

The liberal media has been using TV programs as propaganda forums for decades.

Often this takes the form of attacks on Christians...Christians depicted as evil hypocrites, filled with hate and dysfunction.

One of the worst offenders is Law and Order. My wife,Shelly, refuses to let us watch it, once one of her favorite shows.

It's constantly advocating abortion, pro-homosexuality, gun control, anti-business/free enterprise, and other liberal themes.

And many times it's anti-church. For example, recently it ran a show where a student fell under the influence of a hateful youth minister who trains kids to fight in a religious war against Islam.

One of the kids kills his own mother for having an affair with a Muslim. By stoning her he believes he "cleanses" her of sin and saves her soul.

Typical Christian?

One way Obama is attempting to affect the Christian community is by quoting Scripture.

Many of us were upset with his misuse of Scripture and his selective dismissing of Romans as being an insignificant portion of Scripture not to be believed.

Did you notice this misuse of Scripture:

In Obama's big speech on race he said, "In the end, then, what is called for is nothing more, and nothing less, than what all the world's great religions demand: that we do unto other as we would have them do unto us. Let us be our brother's keeper, Scripture tells us. Let us be our sister's keeper. Let us find that common stake we all have in one another, and let our politics reflect that spirit as well."

However, nowhere in Scripture are we commanded to be our brother's keeper. It was Cain who, after killing his brother, actually justified the killing on the grounds that he was not his brother's keeper.

We are commanded to love. However, this verse cannot be confused to mean justifying social engineering or wealth distribution.

Violence and persecution against Christians in Sri Lanka is escalating. K.P. Yohannan of Gospel for Asia thinks it's because of the growing conversions.

Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus make up the majority of the population. The country has been in a civil war for over 20 years.
