The #1 issue we all should be concerned about is terrorism. It is our most important issue. It's like World War III has arrived and many of the politicians don’t know or don't care. Negotiate. Spend tax money on social welfare programs. But don’t talk about terrorism. This issue was highlighted by the recent RAND study that showed the devastating consequences of a nuclear attack at the Port of Long Beach, California. The study showed that 60,000 people would die immediately. Another 150,000 would become ill from radiation poisoning. Evacuation and rescue would be a huge problem. And the costs of such an attack would exceed $1 trillion (9/11 cost under $100 billion). Where does your elected official stand? |
